The “Berthoud” is a culinary speciality made from Abondance cheese and Madeira wine baked in the oven. It is enjoyed with bread and potatoes.

In 2020, Berthoud obtained the Guaranteed Traditional Specialty label.
They started building the Saint-Maurice church in the 14th century and finished in the 18th century. The current building is a reconstruction of the 19th century Sardinian era, restored in 2008.More information about Saint Maurice Church
