La Chapelle and the Chablais massif are privileged sites for ski touring.
Ski touring is ideal for combining the attraction of wide open spaces with the constant renewed joys of descents in virgin snow. Before leaving take the necessary safety precautions.
Ski touring requires sufficient knowledge about the mountains, snow conditions and local weather. We advise you to contact local professionals (instructors, mountain guides and ski patrollers) for information and warn your friends, or someone where you are staying of your movements.

Ski touring is prohibited on the ski runs during opening times. When the ski runs are closed, during piste grooming and during avalanche prevention blasts, ski touring is also prohibited. Outside of these periods ski touring is unadvised and is done entirely at the person’s own risk.
