La Chapelle d’Abondance has the largest Nordic area in the Abondance Valley. Comprising 23km of maintained Nordic tracks, with 9 different skiing levels, both for classic cross-country skiing with prepared tracks and for Nordic skiing.
The Foyer 4 Saisons, just next to the Nordic domain, is open daily to provide you with a warm indoor area for eating, resting and toilet access.
The Nordic Centre is open every day for takeaway refreshments and snacks, 9 am-5 pm. They do not rent Nordic skiing equipment. To rent equipment please visit the resort’s sports shop.
In addition to Nordic skiing there are other activities provided in the Nordic area: biathlon, Nordic Park, ski orienteering and a sledging slope.

The day and week Nordic ski passes are rechargeable online. To recharge you need a special Nordic card that costs €1. Otherwise: ski passes may be purchased at the La Panthiaz ticket desks or Crêt-Béni ski lift.
The ESF in La Chapelle d’Abondance provide Nordic skiing lessons (both techniques) in group or individual lessons.
They also offer biathlon lessons.
To cover you if an accident happens, we strongly recommend that you take out insurance! Check the different ski insurance offers to which you can subscribe for the resorts of the Pays d’Evian-Vallée d’Abondance.
