The ESF, in collaboration with the La Chapelle d’Abondance Tourist Office and La Chapelle ski domain, organise “torchlight descent evenings” at the foot of the Crêt Béni ski area, which is accessible on foot along the snow footpath from the village centre.
Days and times are in the events programme, also available at the La Chapelle Tourist Office.
The ESF instructors also offer you Nordic skiing, off-piste skiing, handiskiing, taxiskiing and biathlon lessons in private lessons or on a contract basis.
Piou Piou
For children aged 3 to 4 years old.
So your child can learn to ski whilst having fun, the Piou Piou Club is especially designed for early learners in full safety. Your child will learn in a fun and especially adapted environment.
Torchlight Descent
Your children between 4 and 12 years old will participate in a torchlight descent just for you! After several hours of lessons supervised by their instructors, your children will come down the Ourson green run with LED-lit handheld torchlights. Wednesdays or Thursdays (5:30 pm) €10.
Arrows and Chamois
During the school holidays the ESF organize Ski Open tests. Registrations at the ESF the before at the latest.
Important Information for Parents
Helmets are mandatory for children registered at the ESF. So that skiing is a pleasure and to make it easier for children to learn we request that parents do not stay nearby during lessons. We provide a snack break for all children registered at the Piou Piou. Remember sunglasses, sun cream and please take them to the toilet before the lesson.
